For the past 7 months I have been working hard on my new EP (extended play - for those who want to know) 'Walking In The Movies'.
It's a solo album, but it's far from a solo effort. I have a wonderful 5 piece band, an engineer, a couple of designers, a video director, photographer.... wow, just a bunch of extra talented people who have got on board to help me put this thing together.
I believe in self-sufficiency as much as the next Emerson wannabe (or that lead character from the movie 'Into the Wild'). But if I hadn't enlisted the help of these kind, clever and skilled humans, I would have ended up with a far inferior album.
As it is, I think it's about the best music I've ever created, and I very much hope you all will enjoy it.
We're holding a huge launch party on Friday 15th April @ 52 club, 52 Gower Street WC1E 6EB, doors 7.30pm, tickets £5.
